My goal is to help clients craft health and medical communications that truly speak to their intended audiences in a way they can understand.
By incorporating health literacy and health behavior principles, I offer research, consulting, and writing services based on evidence and health education expertise to ensure that people hear what you are trying to say.
I have more than 10 years of experience writing about health, science, and medicine. I obtained my PhD in Health Services Management and Policy (with a minor in Health Behavior and Health Promotion) at The Ohio State University. I have a BS/MS in Biology and Society, and I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). I have worked as a freelance writer, Senior Science Writer and Editor for Nationwide Children's Hospital, and as a Senior and then Lead Medical Writer for QuintilesIMS before launching Brind'Amour Communications.
In my time as a writing professional, I have worked with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies (18 of the top 25 and counting), leading hospitals, international medical device companies, universities, independent physicians and researchers, and many others.
